Hi.
I have a problem with my modem in my Dell system. It is an Aztech modem that came with the Dell. I've never used it because of this problem...
When I plug the phone lead from the modem into the phone socket in the wall it kills the dialtone on the other phones in the house. They just go dead. This does not happen on another computer in the house. Than when I to dial up an ISP it has a dialtone but never connects. That handshaking noise that the modem usually makes sounds all wrong and it never works. Any ideas anyone?
Thanks...

Hi m8,

Sounds to me like your Flagalator could be the cause of this, you should try removing it and giving it a shake and a couple of blows, i'd say it'll work after that, if not then buy a new computer - www.newcomputers.com should sort you out m8....

Any more info needed just e-mail me...
