well in theory i know it hasn't but on more than 2 occations ive managed to resume a download .
like for instance ive lost my connection and then turned machine off then went back to same site next day and redownload ,and download will startup from where i lost connection the day before ,this has happened a couple of times .why does this sometime happen ,anyone got any ideas.

the partially downloaded file could still have been stored in the temp cache.
or something like that
