Having trouble useing spruce have done everything (i think) am at the export stage yet when i click write and it starts to compile it stops straight away with the error message 'pal/ntsc video format mismatch with project settings' what am i doing wrong ???

Try to go into preferences and make sure that it is set to NTSC as opposed to PAL. I assume that the material you used is NTSC, and you didn't do any type of video conversion and accidentally make it pal (which is an option I think in rempeg).

Nah i havnt changed anything with rempeg in fact i didnt use it due to the end files only totalling 3 and a half ish gig. i am useing a pal dvd but im sure ive tried both pal and ntsc, bit annoying due to the fact its my first attempt am currently trying enemy of the state just so's i can get one success under my belt....

So the movie is a PAL disk right? Just to verify again, under preferences did you change it to PAL. I think the default is NTSC.

In the export tab, does the video format say NTSC or PAL?
