Since Seganet is free again I started looking for a free ISP once again.
I used netzero and cracked the password and username... but there was one problem.
The username was too long and didn't fit in the username field on the dreamcast. (it only fits 28 characters)
Does anyone know if there is any way around this? a new web browser version? any help is appreciated.

sorry d00d, looks like your out of luck.... even if you did find a way to fit your username/password, it wouldnt work. You get connected and all, but if you go to any websites, it says "You must upgrade your netzero software yada yada yada......" and it wont let you go to any sites. It wont work with games either  i tried to get my dads work isp on ma DC but i couldnt do it cuz it got lots of settings that you can only set on a comp. Looks like you (and me) should keep looking for another free isp

Netzero/juno does not work. I've tried it over and over, even with games that will take a long password (such as 4x4 evo.) There aren't any other free isps, but some cheap ones like att worldnet work well.

have you tried the dial-up networking technique that will let you use your pcs internet connection?
