i dont think ive ever played a turok game b4 but was wondering if the ps2 version is worth getting. i think that it was good on another system. i havent seen reviews yet either so that could be bad?

the game looks sweet. It usually takes like a couple of days before you start seeing reviews.

I like it. Seems just like other Turok series. Nice colorful graphics.

I didn't know it was ripped to CD. I thought it was DVD-R release only, which would be about $5. Would it still be worth it?

Complete rubbish. Generic beyond words and I lost my interest halfway into level 3. Not even worth a backup IMHO :(

A major dissapointment.For a start the graphics were better on the N64,the gameplay has gone to rubbish.If you like Turok buy an n64

thanks people. some1 said to buy the backup in this post even w/o knowing how good it is. i think it is silly to have both sorry games and good games even if youre rich. this game is a no go.

actually jaice, i saw a rating for dino stalker 3 and it was a 5 out of 10. it disappointed me.

between the two i have to say dino stalker 3 is a much better game

yeh i would go with Dino Stalker anyday compared to Turok, and i
downloaded both the X-Box and the PS2 version of Turok and i have
to say that the X-Box version handles easier and the graphics look
better - but doesnt hide the fact that the game is crap anyway :)

I just got done playing the first stage of this game on cdr for ps2. IMHO this game is not one of the best I've played for the ps2. The controls and the gameplay isn't all that great either. This was the first Turok game I'd ever played and I don't think that I'd be playing much of it to tell you the truth. Cheers to Kalisto for releasing this game and a .ppf file which enables all the cheats in the game. That makes it a bit more enjoyable (not too much). Is it worth buying? NO. Is it worth renting? NO. Is it worth downloading and burning to a cdr? YES. My personal rating: 4.5 stars. But don't take my word for it, go see for yourself.

it just doesn't hold up at all..... :( (this could be the end of this) only worth a backup at best then throw it away after you find out it sucks...

I have seen the ad and it looks very good.

Thats the entire point of advertising,However just cause it looks good on the ad doesnt mean it actually is
