Just starting easynews and can someone tell me how to use a download program so i can resume the download if it fails ect, i have dap but how do i make it download the files i want? Instead of using zip manager as when i download games it takes ages and crashes half the time wasting my gb.

Mods please can you leave this here for a bit as most people use easynews in this forum, if not so be):

use newsbin 4.0 pro as your newsreader with easynews and you won't have to worry about time outs, etc. just like butter

Is it easier than just using easynews as the newsreader aswell?

if it does timeout does it waste my alotted downloads?

whats the news server address?

--------------------------

I was getting a game about 400mb and on the 95% mark the server crashed and the download stopped, i lost 400mb of the 6gb...do you think if i email them i will get ti back?

Yes... I use easynews and when this happens I e-mail them and they credit my account. They will tell you to use a download program...

Make download accelerator your default downloader.Or when you go to the zip manager right click the download button and it should give you an option there to download with DAP

I use Getright with Easynews. just drag the zip to be downloaded onto the drop icon, enter your username and password and your sorted, nice and easy resumable downloads, you can even set it to disconnect and turn the pc off when its done.

Try asking there.

It's ok...could be alot better..retention is only about 4 days or so...completeness of files could be alot better..I think teranews is alot better..i might go with them and get 1.5 gig a day account for $21 and get rid of 100proofnews...but i heard another one is cheaper for unlimited downloads..usenetserver is something like $15 a month but i don't know how complete the files are.
