Im mean ripping movies, dialogue... from a dvd over 2 gigs and fitting them
on 80 min cds then having your laser going crazy loading from a restructured format, will that lessen the life of the laser unit ?

especially the gta3 rip, if a game is good like FFX, onimusha, kingdom hearts you could better buy the dvd of the game

I tend to disagree. I've been playing rips for about 1.5 years and still the ps2 runs perfect. Ver3 with Messiah.

I don't have any prob with the rips when they are burnt at a decent speed (2x-4x) and on decent media:)
