I Installed the sims(original)Living large,house party and hot date on the computer from backup copys.They all installed with no problems,but when I go to play it(I put in hot date cd)it says to please insert the correct cd .Im not sure what Im doing wrong.Do I need a patch of some kind?Where would I get it?:confused:

yeah I think you need the no cd patch. You can go to megagames.com and see if they have any.

Check the backup and see if there is a crack included.

i got that aswell, but sometimes the game works?

Go to www.megagames.com and get a Sims Hot Date "no cd/back up cd" patch. Extract that zip to C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims (asuming u installed it there) Hit yes to overwrite.

make sure u copied the crack to your sims folder and it will work
