hey i have been trying to copy my playstation games with cd mate 2.2.8 deluxe build one and i cant seem to get them to work.
i have the scph101 model ps. i installed a stealth mod chip, the games i copy will not boot up the playstation. i know the chip is installed correctly
i even took one out and put in another to make sure the first one wasnt defected. i cant even do the swap method and get them to work. but they will work if you take the original game and get it started then switch to the copy you can play through the whole game. but you have to let the original game play for about 2 minutes before putting the copy in. i am new to this
and was wondering if someone could kind of point me in the right direction
i am running windows xp, cd burner is a lite-onltr-24102b, also have a matshita dvd ram lf-d311 . any info would be greatly appreciated

Use CloneCD or CDRWin

yeah clone cd is probably the #1 program when it comes to copying games.

ok i tried the clone cd and end up with the same results.
is there different settings i need to use?
all i do is copy cd and record.

make sure "read subchannel data from data tracks" and "read subchannel data from audio tracks" are selected in the read menua dn make sure "do not repair subchannel data" is checked in the write window.

ok did this too . man sorry for being so ignorant on this . just trying to learn and i am stuck.
all i can get when i put in the copied game is"please insert playstation format disc". any suggestions???
