MaK10 Sep 05, 2002, 12:17 PM have you gotten any backups to work on it? try different media.. and make sure the back up works.. (try on another ps with a chip) that will tell you if its the chip or the backup DkantDside Sep 05, 2002, 02:43 PM Its probably just a bad copy. Make sure the backup doesnt have mod protection on it or check to see if the chip has any loose wires. Sting4life_MB Sep 05, 2002, 11:27 PM If my memory serves me correctly, the PSX would only go to the screen where it prompts for something (cant remember) or audio. You have two options at the screen, I know the 2nd is to select the audio player. The PSX generally goes to that screen when it doesnt recognize the disc. For example if you put a blank cd-r in, it will go to that screen. So if your not even getting to the beginning sequences of the disk, its probably a bad backup. Try another backup on your psx and see if that works. If it works, its the game and not the PSX mwa423 Sep 08, 2002, 09:33 PM Just reburn it on different media, and try another backup. |
