There is no such thing as a cross over adaptor. you are talking about a cross over cable - used to connect your xbox to your PC. get one from any decent computer shop

there is a crossover adapter i got one from my cable company....

i think you can DIY if you get two RJ45 and wire pin1 to pin3 on the rj45 B and also wire pin2 to pin 6 on rj45 B you you can use this as a cross over adpter... look on the net for more details... get someone to confirm about the connections

there is a crossover adaptor.
you connect it to one end of a standard cat5e network cable and it allows you to use it as a crossover cable.

@plexgod - he aint a knob m8 - their is a cross-over adaptor - try reading some of the X-Box tutorials and they mention cross-over adaptors - also i use a cross-over adaptor when i flash the X-Box bios

why - because i was given my cables so i didnt pay for them - however they cost about £5 and you should have a bit of change - or if you know anyone that works for NTL ;) they can get them from the Broadband Kit they install
