I am running Windows XP Pro, have got a Pioneer 104 DVD Burner which will also do CD's and CD-RW's, My problem is that when I format a CD-RW using direct CD 5.02d I can write to the disc using windows commander or explorer with no problems, once I eject the disc and either re-insert the same CD-RW or another one it says there are 0bytes to write to, if I reboot my machine and insert the disc it will write to it again with no problems until the disc is ejected and re-inserted, have checked my aspi layer which is ok at 4.60, have tried several different CD-RW all with the same effect. any one else had this

I have had this problem with direct cd. The only way I could get round it was by re installing the prog. It seems to take hold and wont let go until you force it to. I use nero now it doesnt seem to have the same problems. If you change to nero dont forget to open your disks so they can be read by any computer
