My friend gave me the same exact disc that he used to install evox on his xbox with the same exact modchip and it will not work on my xbox? anyone know why the same exact disc would work on one xbox and not the other?

He says he has the same mod chip....i suspect your dvd-rom drive doesnt like the media....what is it burnt to? cd-rw or cd-r or dvd media?

maybe your box dont like that media.....maybe try burning it to another media brand.

been covered about a hundred times now. no media is compatible with every box.

look at your hole in your drive tray is it a U? or is it lightbulb like? then compare it to your friends' ..
dont use cdrw use dvdr only for evox thats my opinion......its cheap in the bst forum on dvdr.
