Here's one that has me baffled.. Maybe you guys know. :D

I have my Xbox fitted with an X-ecuter chip, and seeing strange things with the ftp.

If I boot off the cdrw with my evox software, the ftp works. If I boot the machine with a game disc in the drive, no ftp at all. No ping, etc. etc. If I boot with no cd in the drive, I do get the Evox dashboard.

Anyone know why I cannot get response from the xbox without that cdrw in the drive? :confused:

Anyone? :bouncing:

1. open you xbox dvd drive (this should also switch it on)
2. Let it boot to evo-x then go to network and connect via ftp pref. using flashfxp
3. once connected insert game disc into dvd and press the eject so the tray is withdrawn back into the xbox
4. wait a few seconds then you should be able to browse th d: drive (dvd)
