Hi all,I'm having problems!I have just backed up a copy ofTom Clancy's "Ghost Recon"-"Desert Seige".Successfully burnt a backup copyof disc, using Clone CD,ver 4.0.1.10,but when i try to use the disc,i get the message "cannot locate file autorun.exe."
This is my first time backing up comp software,do i need to down load a special patch, fix or something for it to run?I thought clone cd copied1:1,so why wont it run?system requrements are up to spec,i cant figure it out!
Free lifetime of beer to anyone who can help..(yeah,right!!)

Moving this to VGB. Also I changed the subject, having it "Free BEER to all who read this" is not particularly helpfull.

When you say 'use the disc' do you mean you have installed it and it wont start, You cannot just run Desert Siege, You are supposed to run Ghost Recon and select Desert Siege missions from the log, is that what you are doing.

i have ghost recon installed as well.if i click on the ghost recon icon on my desktop, with the original desert seige disc in,it runs.Try it with the backup copy,it wont run. Also it seems that i cannot run ghost recon, without using the desert seige disc?basically, the copy of desert seige is causing it not to run.

I would assume tht Desert Seige is protected with SafeDisc2. Clone CD's ability to do a 1:1 copy depends somewhat on your hardware.

What drive did you use and what settings, ie. did you have AWS enabled or not. Also being a newer SD2 release it would contain an ATIP check, so where you trying to run the copy in a CDRW drive??
