I have taken a image of a cd-rom and created a iso file. I then burned a cd with easy cd creator using the option burn cd from image. The cd was burned successfully, but I am unable read the disc.

Anyone any ideas what I have not done or done incorrectly ?

yes, finalise the disc and you will be able to read it.
