could be your av wire , no video or sound would point to that , check the yellow wire at the back of the dvd drive , although if that was loose or there was any other mechanical fault your xbox would flash different colors.

i checked that and its looking good.. and the AV adopter is good..
i think its got to do with the chip.. couse even if the dvd drive or the HD wasnt good i whould still be able to see a screen, and i dont see a screen..
so its the board or the chip right?

i dont think its an heating prob ..
maybe its a loose wire from the chip or a mistake on the solder.??
and maybe its somthing to do with the van?

check the Xbox error codes/flashing light meanings here

GREEN/RED Flashing:
Probably a bad chip or bad image.

SOLID GREEN/NO EJECT/No AUDIO/No VIDEO:
Probably a bad solder point. Check all your points again.

SOLID GREEN/No AUDIO/No VIDEO:
This is probably a problems with your audio settings. Try to boot your xbox with a standard a/v pack instead of a HD pack.

ORANGE/GREEN Flashing:
No AUDIO/VIDEO (A/V) pack.
