Okay I dare say we have had his one before but here goes...

I have dual boot..win 98...wih main as win2000
when i shut down 98 it's fine and shuts down comp
when I hut down 2000 it cloes windows and says
now safe to turn off computer...will not shutdown completely

have tried altering power setings etc in display and c.p. no joy
even did it conjunction with bios changes....no joy

any ideas????
