Everytime I try to shut down my comp from Start > Shut Down it starts to shut down but then just goes to a blank screen and is unresponsive, I have windows ME and i heard it has some shut-down problems, if anyone at all knows why its doing this it would help alot.

maybe your reg is corrupt , try this boot up with ME bootdisk at prompt type
scanreg /fix (press enter) , good luck
