For some reason in prassi when it gets to about 75% reading a dvd it crashes and says
direct copy job untitled terminated with erros command :28 sense 03 asc : 11 ascq: 05.

So far I have tried reading with my toshiba dvd rom and Pioneer dvd writer without any success.

I am running windows xp ntfs

You might try some of the following:
Make sure your Pioneer is set to DMA mode in the hardware settings.
Update the latest PX drivers from Prassi.
Defragment your HD and perform a scandisk.
These should fix your problem. The only problem I am having is that Primo combined with my Pioneer, stops wrtiting for long periods(10-15) of time when burning from my IDE hd...any suggestions?

i had the same problem with prassi so i got record now max 4.1 looks the same but exl never had a coaster yet

prassi has problems with newer writers, its in your best interest to open up kazaa and DL RecordNow Max 4.1
