psx help...... going from ntsc to pal

i have this game for the psx and its in pal format...
i have a psx scph-9001 and i tried those tricks at megagames about the conversion of ntsc to pal but then it wont work for the 9001 series...
i even tried patching it up and it wont work... i just wanna know if there is any other way that i can play that pal version

goto megga gams.com download a poggy called patch it you can use it to pach any verion you like pal to jap jap to nstc pal to nstc it dose it all including changing the terrorty codes works grate
