ok....rented monsters inc - R2 Pal from blockbuster....
ran smartripper which said the movie was 4828 meg....
damn i thought.....gonna have to run this one through rempeg overnight to shrink it...
after ripping it i found a .m2v file of 3,461,344 kb and an .ac3 file of 290,168 kb.......and a few .vob files which were about 400,000 kb each.
now i ran the .m2v file in power dvd and the whole movie is there!
what were these other vob files ????
they wont play in power dvd!

other languages, soundtracks, subtitles depending on whats on it
you would have seen them ticked when you where selecting the demux for the m2v and ac3 the rest would be left in the vobs

As gam said, just strip the streams mate. There's a ton of shite you can rip.
