Quite often when I copy a dvd I seem to get blemishes on the disc which kind of looks like the ink has splashed. I have tried datasafe gen 3 choice 2 speed and fws 1 speed.

I am using Nero as Prassi will not read in my dvd's either from writer or dvd rom.

So is it software or hardware.

When I get these blemishes or ink splattering the film will play perfectly up to that point then either freeze and continue or completely stop

Any help much appreciated as I am fed up with this.

some dvdr are like that i think its when they are dyed.i have had loads like that and still work.

when i had mine thery seemed ok

just like when u burnd cdr's to fast the ink splattering on some cdr's

Well i have changed media and the problem persists so it i being collected tomorrow to be exchanged
