I have a copy of office 2000 premium edition, i recently tried installing it on to my new pc but it was corrupt, so i used the back up i had made. i then tried to back up the back up so that i had a spare copy in case it happened again, but it would only copy to 80% then stopped, i tried it 3 times, with the same thing happening. Does office only allow 1 back up, and stopping you from backing up your back up?

Is there a piece of free ware that will solve my problem around??

Should not be a problem at all, it's not protected or anything.

Download Clone CD from http://elby.org and use that, you should have no problem making a copy with that or Nero or anything really.

If using Clone CD, make sure that you check the log for read errors.
