ok....i've rented dtox-pal(r2)

the problem is it's listed in the full backup list however the dvd is larger than 5 gigs when i click on properties........i run smartripper and i'm told the movie is 4822 meg!

i have ripped the movie and i have a .m2v of 4,627,154 kb and a .ac3 of 258,176 kb.

i've had the same dilema with blade which is listed in the full back up list and the movie only back up list....

i'm wondering if there is something wrong....am i getting false file sizes???

i wouldn't think you are getting false file sizes - the only thing i can think of is different versions (ie r2 rental / r2 retail as well as other regions)- see what dvddecrypter says or try a different drive to satisfy yourself but it will probably make no difference


i know my blade (r2 retail) will fit as long as you only have the movie with one ac3 stream only (other streams need to be stripped out or m2v/ac3 reauthored)

as for the other one u mentioned it may fit if you cut the credits off the end - with vobsplit or similar program or authoring with the likes of dvdmaestro
