Alien vs Predator 2 questions

When I put the backup in it says wrong disk. I open the file to manually install it,all goes well till I start to play.It says that Im missing file AVP2.rez.And yet again wrong disc.
Im new to patching and pc games in general.Anyone knows what is happening?

AVP2 is protected with Securom, you either do not have a 1:1 copy or are trying to play it in a CDRW drive.

I am trying to play it on my cdrw drive,but I tried it on my cousins cd drive and it did the same thing.So I must not have a 1:1 copy?So is it garbage?

You could try using a fixed/cracked EXE or something like daemon-tools to emulate the protection.

Check the CD for a crack, if there is one then copy it into the game directory, replacing the original.

did you back it up yourself, check disc 1 for below
Properties 555MB= if this does not match it needs crack
AVP2 5,219 application= if this does not match it needs crack
