how do i get dvd-r films to play on my ps2??

The PS2 is very sensitive to the type of media used, I use neo's or traxdata for both movies and games, don't really like doing movies for PS2 as it really is not designed for movies and lots of people have trouble, mainly skipping if the movie uses all the disc ie problems at the outer edges

i bought a traxdata dvdr (signs), that doesn't work on my ps2, it does on my standalone and so do bulkpaq gen 3 but not on my ps2!!!

it shouldnt matter if its chipped or not, if you use the correct media and they are region free then they should play no problems, i use fws and gen 3 datasafes without any problems

dvd-rs have to be fully dvd compliment to run on a ps/2 ie (not just vcd's convertverted over as explained in vcdhelp.com etc.... make sure u fully reencode the vid & audio to dvd complient burn onto quality media and u should have no probs

I use white lable on my ps2, works for games, but haven't got any films to work yet as not sure how to reencode out of divx
