spec of your pc will only affect authoring/reencoding and working in general with large video files - the higher spec, the faster processing

for burning at 1 speed a full 4.7gb dvd will take approx 1 hour to burn once the files are authored on your harddrive (approx 30mins at 2x)

authoring/reencoding varies depending what needs done (15mins - hours)

read the guide at top of page and you will find out exactly what is involved,as it aint as easy as a 1:1 copy

Suggest you read the tutorials 1st, b4 you buy a writer as it can be very daunting. Satisfying once mastered but will cause headaches along the way.
P.C. spec is ok, DVD-r 1:1 is straightforward enough, DVD to DVD-r takes time and patience. LOTS of patience.

depends on the media you are using - there are more good reliable 1 speed discs at the minute that there are 2 speed

at the minute i have been doing more at one speed but if a 2 speed disc comes along that i have 99% confidence in i will use it more - getting there white label gen 4 2x
