Considering buying one of these mp3 players, just wondering which one is the best and is cheap?

If you mean by MP3 CD player then in my opinion, SlimMX 240 from IRIVER is the BEST. I have it and been using for months without any trouble and works GREAT with many features.
go to iriver.com and find out more.

I personally used a Diva Player and I find it to be the best and cheap.
It takes compact flash, unlimited storage capacity, upgradable firmware, ability to use as a removable disk drive, no copyright crap, small, and good sound.

But if you're looking for the best MP3 player, it has got to be the Apple iPod.
