ok ive yet to make a DVDR
im using a Sony DRU-120A DVD+RW (Secondary Master)....Verbatim DVD+R media
Specs: AMD 1200 on XP Pro Fat32, 512 RAM Sony CD-RW, Creative 8x DVD-ROM...etc etc
I ripped with Smartripper 2.4 into VIDEO_TS folder I proceeded to burn with RecordNow Max 4.1 (prassi primo doesnt support dru-120a) the test worked fine but the recording process fudged up.
Then i tried to use Nero 5590 under DVD-VIDEO. i put the VIDEO_TS files into the premade VIDEO_TS folder in the Nero wizard screen, i left the AUDIO_TS blank. i burnt it no problems but when i play it , its just one long screwed up dvd.
The movie (Cube) is DVD-5 so i dont see whats wrong
HELP ME PLEASE!

It could be a media problem.

What do you mean by one long screwed up DVD. What Exactly is the problem.

If it is a straight dvd5 rip use DVD decrypter to read and write, you say you use nero under dvd-video, i am surprised itworked at all, if you have all the files in a video_ts and audio_ts forlder then using nero just select dvd rom (iso) and drag both folders across and burn

With NERO you MUST use DVD UDF/ISO otherwise it wont work.

I suggest you pick up a DVD+RW disc to use til you get your method down. If the movie doesn't work, erase it and try again.......

Hi,

I have about the same problem!
I have a HP 200i burner and recently bought some platinum dvd+r and dvd+rw.
Made an iso file with dvd decrypter and burnt it with record now max on a dvd+rw.This worked fine the movie play's.
Then I burned on a dvd+r and said succesful burned, but the disk is empty Even my computer can't see the disc it says wrong format.
I tried another one and had the same problem.
