If I have a notebook without firewire, is there possible to add a firewire system. My notebook is Gateway Solo 9500. I need this because I use an external CD-ROM RW drive, now on USB 1.1 (4X4X6X - that's true!). On a firewire my drive is 12X8X36X

I don't know what an "i.link" is. Please explain me and, if I haven't this one is impossible for me to obtain a firewire on my notebook? I've visited your link and this didn't clarify me.

It is marvelous. My laptop is (now, after some developments) 2,500 $ and 67 pounds aren't too much for better speed of many devices. Again thanks!
