Just a quick question, am trying to backup Delta force taskk force dagger and am having snags with it. It says it is protected with safedisc v2.5, but everytime i use nero v5.5.9.9 or clonecd both programs steadfastly refuse to even start trying to read the disc, everything just freezes, any ideas as i hate spending money on games and having the kids ruin the original!!

Cheers

SD CD's have unreadable sectors at the start of the disc... are you sure that it is freezing and not just slowing down to read them?? Check the Clone CD log.

Nero is not good for SD2 CD's unless you want to use a cracked EXE in which case you don't need to read the CD, just copy the files off.

What drive are you using??

Some other options for software would be BlindWrite, CD Mate and Alcohol.

It is not listed on the Clone CD hardware requirements page. BlindWrite has the 720 listed as not being able to do SD v2.5..

I don't fancy your chances of doing a 1:1 copy with that drive.
