This may be a dumb question but since GBA games are so small - would it be possible to download GBA games on a 56k, if anyone has tried, how long did it take, or how long would it take if someone tries it.

I used to download at least 100+MB stuff when I was on 56k.
You should know how fast your connection is and therefor how long it will take to download something of a give size.

Yeah I used to, no sweat.
20 Mb takes about 1 hour on 56k. Pile em up and d/l em overnight!
Sweet. :)

I think I'll "pile em up overnight" now to learn how to use mIRC.

you can easily download in about 10 mins on a good day
ROM's are not allowed. This also means no offering via email

I download movies on my 56k (those crappy quality TMD DivX releases from Kazaa) I just leave it on all night and when I wake up I have me a new movie.
I'd just go to Kazaa or WinMX and get a bunch of games that you want to download, and when you wake up, you have new GBA games. And GBA games don't take all that long to download, about the same as an MP3 in my experiences.
