I installed my new hard drive to be used as a secondary.
I stick the max blast cd-rom in the cd drive. I stick the floppy
in the floppy drive. Shutdown. Boot. Floppy loads but can't
access cdrom drive to start the software!!!! Some software
from the floppy loads, but every option wants to copy stuff
to the hard drive. I just want to format and partition it and
use it as a secondary....

PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF COMPUTERS, HELP ME!

I would simply guess that your Max-Blast diskette has no option to load the CDROM drive.

There is an option to just partition and format in Maxblast but as duffy90210 said, it doesn't load cd-rom drivers. You have to do it with Maxblast or can you do it from with in Windows

The floppy was supposed to have everything I need to enable the
cdrom and run their software... didn't work for me. Ended up going
the old FDISK route. Works now! Thanks for your help!
