My game backup discs wont boot

I dont know why my game backup disc wont boot. I first tried writing an image of my diablo II expansion cd.. the data appears to be there and looks the same as the original... but when i try to start the game it still asks for the game cd to be inserted in the drive...

does this have something to do with boot protection?

is there a way around this..

please help..

i would like to copy other game cds but i dont know what my problem is

You still need the No-CD patch to bypass the copy protection. Go to www.gamecopyworld.com

It is protected with Securom which uses the subchannel info to detect a copy or original it also may use an ATIP check to check if it is on a CDR/W or an original.

You are either trying to play it in a CDRW drive without something like Clone CD's hide CDR enabled or you did not copy it correctly. As said a cracked EXE should solve your problem.
