Well it seems like the Hex edit it's always at the same address for games that need the patch. Just go look for the value at the address, if it has it change it. If it doesn't - it probably doesnt need that patch.

I don't have a beta mod, so I dunno.

I read all the posts on the hex and patches. It always seems the same. I forgot what exact address and where, but just do a search.
