Im trying to burn evox on to cdrw. I saw a list saying the xbox can read the 4x 700mb memorex cdrw im using, but i cant get it to read it. Could it be my burn settings? Im using nero 5.5.

it varies whether an xbox will read a particular media type or not. mine reads the memorex 10x cdrws fine, and also 5 different brands of dvd-r discs. you have to experiment with different types.

also its recomended to sue primodvd for burning xbox isos.

Make sure you're burning it correctly, and I also would strongly recommend Primo DVD/Record Now Max

Anyway, have you ever burned games before? I have had problems w/ Nero myself, its doesn't seem to always do what you want it too.

No, it should be fine on CDRW. All you want is for it to load, then it doesn't need to access the disk while you use it.
As for CDRW - I've had 100% success with Traxdata 12X CDRW. Used those infact to put EvoX on my Xbox :)

Ya, mine works with a Memorex CD-RW (Thompson drive)
Just gotta fine one that works for your XBox. Make sure it's a good ISO image you are burning also - one that WORKS.

How do you know if its not a good iso image and not the media or your drive etc.?I mean how do you check the iso image to see?

I use xISO - to view the files of an ISO on my PC. Of course, it's only good for spotting the files. I don't think it validates images - I could be wrong tho.
