Hey all-
I have burned alot of Xbox games without any problem, DVDR and CDRW for rips. The one thing I have trouble with is Evolution X. All my DVD-Rip games are on TDK CDRW, which have worked FLAWLESSLY, BUT when I burn EITHER version of EvoX, the Xbox can't read it......WHY? I would REALLY appreciate ANY kind of ideas on why this doesn't work. I have tried burning the EvoX iso with Nero, EasyCD(garbage, but worth a try), reburned with CloneCD, and YES , even with PrimoDVD.....ALL were burnt at 1X, with the exception of PrimoDVD because it only goes as slow as 4X for some unknown reason. It is frustrating the CRAP out of me.......
Again, thanx in advance for anything you guys can think of.

is it the original exox release, or a repack of some kind? try finding another iso to d/l and give that a try.

Hopefully this will sort your problem as it did for me when i was having the same problems as you.

Download the new beta which to my knowledge is not an .iso

Burn as a data disk with primo dvd and it should work. (check my guide in the FAQ if not sure how to do this)

I think the problem has something to do with the way the .iso was created.

The version of EvoX that i used was from the .iso folder on this board from toofan's site i believe) so you shouldnt have any trouble finding it.

Hope this works for ya.

Peace

Thanks for all of your help........
I got it to work. I tried alot of different methods alone, but no luck. Then, I got a wild hair up my butt, and decided to get a CDRW, and put every known method of burning Evo X I could find........all on one disc! Then BAM! it loaded up! I am not sure which one it is reading, but it IS reading, so who cares. It was everybody's ideas rolled into one I suppose.....So, thanks, you guys.........I can die a happy man now, EvoX works in my Xbox!LOL!! GREAT help everybody.
