Whats the best newsgroup for latest games that i can join

you can subcribe to www.easynews.com that is a great one. its $10 a month for 6 gigs. I'm sure there are others, but thats the one i use.

Does your ISP not carry it's own news server?

My ISP does and it's great, constant 65k sec, no download limit a month, all in with the subscription you pay each month (£25)

which ISP is that m8? if its NTL you are missing out on a lot of posts. I have ntl and clara, and clara holds SO many more complete posts

easynews servers keep the games on a lot longer than my isp does, plus my isp server doesnt seen to have half the games as easynews. they have the same old games that have been there forever. for $10 a month its worth it for older games fills, and not just xbox, anything you are looking for

Am on Blueyonder mate, providing you check it twice a day all games seem to make it through and you can get the files before they are removed from the server, only ever had 1 incomplete post, that was only because i was outa town for a day and so missed the initial posting. Most if not all files of a series seem to make it through.

I agree with what you guys are saying though, pay servers are a lot better as they retain files for a long time, would help a lot for fills e.t.c Just wondering, what do pay servers cost these days in the UK, is there a download limit e.t.c. a month.

I have the unlimited package - when I first signed up 2 years ago it was £20 for the year! gone up a bit but still well worth it. however your ISP sounds really good and as long as you access it regularly, why pay for something else

Thanks for the info mate, the £29.99 a year sounds quite good for 10 gig a month, this would be well enough to get fills if they were ever needed, would also give me a break in the morning and let me get into work a bit earlier instead of checking all the groups :laugh:
