Hi m8s, well ive just got buffy original to copy took the game from me xbox and put it on me pc no i have xiso and xboxisotool and i just cant seem to get them to work for me i go to the folder where it is and tell it so save it (start making the iso) and it gets so far and just sorta sticks i press control alt delete and it says the program isnt responding this happens on both the iso tools, now i think i can just put all the files onto a data disc in prassi i just tried that did a test and it worked ok then tried to do a record and it failed with an error right at the begining i might be doing sommat wrong i dunno its my first xbox copy of an original so plz if you can help me out :)

Also when i took the game from my hd i did it n flashfxp and just put it in a folder called xbox it only shows me the folders when i go to make the iso of it so i just tell it to make an iso of the xbox folder is this right ???????? :(:(

You unrarred with winrar right, and you got an iso image, use prassi, new job, global image or other images, on the new screen click open and change the open file type to iso, burn away

Sorry m8 lol i know im stupid but unrarred ? i have win rar i thought i just took the files from me xbox and that was it i didnt need to touch those files with owt else ? can you explain in a way that a dumb *** like me will understand ? plz m8.

basically ive taken the game files from the d drive on the xbox through flash fxp put them in a folder that i named xbox then gone to either xiso or xboxisotool and told them to make an iso of the the xbox folder (which contains the game files) it starts then gets stuck and dosent respond ?

you dont need to make an iso - just the burn the files with prassi

I looked up this error code in Primo and it says "Power Calibration Area Error".

Here is an explanation of this error from an unknown CD manufacturing web site:

This error means the blank disc has a section outside the standard recording area called the Program Calibration Area which is used to adjust the laser for the brand of media you're using. The error means that the drive is having trouble calibrating the power settings. If it occurs with every disc you try, then you should upgrade the devices Firmware. You can obtain the Firmware upgrade from the device’s manufacturer’s website. It would be listed as “Firmware” or “Driver”. The Firmware Version Upgrade is specific to your device; please make sure that you upgrade the version for YOUR device model. If this does not correct the issue then the drive should be checked.

Basically it sounds like it could be a bad disc. If it does the same for all discs try updating the firmware of your drive.

Check the forum first for Prassi problems, that's probably the common DMA, PIO error. Search the forum, I forgot what setting is suppose to be on, disable DMA or PIO, lol.

But that's probably it. You might want to get the engine upgrade for Prassi.

I dunno what burner you have, but if you have a Pioneer, get the new firmware. Just use the latest firmware, and check media like people sugguested

OH guys thanks ever so much really apreciate all your help, i have the ao3 and using bulkpaq it does it with every dvd-r disc so i will get the upgrades like you said and let ya all know if it worked ok, once again many thanks for helping me out m8s :)

Ok m8s, ive got the latest firmware (well the newest i could find) installed it then i got the engine update for prassi tried to burn the iso exact same thing happened so i then tried to do it in DISCJUGGLER and this happened,


280 writing track 1 of 1
then it comes up 17891 (CDB:2a000000026000001000, Status 040002, Sense: 037303) OPC or PMA update error

then it tries to do the burn again and gets this

17890 (CDB: 5300000000000ef77600, Status 04002, Sense: 057205) Session fixation error

if i let keep on re- trying it it keeps getting the same above error



i just dunno what to do if anyone can help some more i really apreciate it.

Might be an idea to try something other than Bulcrap, they are the worst disks you can get, they are other companys seconds, disks not fit for sale from the manufacturer.
