Ok....so I am COMPLETELY new to this. I am basically just looking for someone to just walk me throught EVERYTHING I need to do to start A.) Copying xbox original cds and B.) Downloading and burning them. I dont have a mod chip. Which one should I get? Price isnt a real big issue as long as its semi-easy to solder and since MS might be putting chip-detectors into their xbox live service it would be cool if the chip was somehow upgradable. So basically what I want is tutorials on how to copy originals/burn downloaded copies....I wont have problems finding games to d/l. Also all this talking about apz like evoxplorer and boxplorer....can someone explain these? are they part of the mod chips? Any and all help would be appreciated...Once I ge tthe hang of things I plan to become more active on this board and likely to help others. Thanks in advance!

Well, to answer all your questions, one would need to re-write the whole forum under your topic, so I suggest you just use the search box using keyword & you get answer to all your questions.

But here is a short version for you:

1. Get a modchip which you can easly flash it's bios. so you can upgrade it. I suggest you find someone to flash your xbox-s onboard bios with evolutionx. Then you can easly upgrade bios from hardisk or CDRW/DVD.
If you just wanan modchip thats easy to install I suggest x-cuter.

2. After you've done so, you can copy xbox games by transfering them to your pc hardisk & make an xbox image file using xiso. then burn on dvd-r using primodvd or on cdrw using recodrmaxx or nero. For tutorials go here:

3. Boxplorer is a filemanager for xbox.
