same thing happened to my xbox last night. been using evox dash for about a month now won't load dvdr's or xbox originals. it will still read the games for backing up purposes, just won't load them. have to switch back to original xbox dash to load games. any ideas?

thanks

grumuk read the post properly b4 replying
there games work
just no using evo-x dash
they work on orig ms dash
ive had a few probs with some games too ive found on some of them going to orig ms dash and deleting the saved/options for game they work again
ive had one or 2 that have taken ages to get to load on evo x dash but work in end
mainly on the new evox dash 2549
and sometimes even though ive got it not to auto boot games
it still does

anyone else have probs who has worked any answer out ?

just a thought on the last evox dash i changed its name to orig dash name and the ms one to another
this time ive left ms as orig name and changed the evox dash to evoxdash.xbe
and using evox 2.5 no ani no logo evox bios

what set ups r u using ?

Here may be sort of your answer. If you unplug your xbox there is no battery for backup. I order for your backups to play the time and date must be set. You need to link to the original dashboard and set the time this is easily done by naming the original msxboxdash.xbe. This should correct your problem and keep you from having to revert back to the original dashboard. Also this has been discussed trying search next time.
