Okay, my dad has dsl through sbc on our phone but for some dumb reason wont let me use it. My question is can i get dsl from another company (aol, earthlink, etc) and use the same phone line. Ive heard yes and no and i desperately want it for xbox live. I thought if i had my own modem and it was connecting to a different system it would work.:beer:

dont think you can have 2 dsl accounts on 1 phone line. you need another phone line. try posting the dsl portion of the question in the open to all computer questions forum.
