i`m thinking of getting either the panny e30 , or the philips 890.
question is which one???????

i`m leaning toward the panny at the moment as i like the look of the time slip function of dvd ram, but this would be useless to my a04 or any other dvd player apart from ram drives, would the minus r recordings be easily edited and reburned with my a04??? does the panny support minus rw???

would the philips 890+r/+rw offer more in the editing and reburning stakes with my a04 ??? could this be used like a vcr if the dvd player/s were +rw compatable??? just how compatable are the +r/+rw??????
i know the -r are more compatable than -rw.

which of the two offer the best back up facility ie. in/out puts????

any help/info. much appriciated, even if a different system, but around the 500 pound mark.
