I just bought a Sony Vaio wiyh a DVDR/RW Drive, but i wanna know if there is any program that will eliminate de locks the dvd films have so that i can copy them on a blank DVDR and play the on any DVD player (i´m thinking a software like copycd but that does the same thing with dvd´s)

Thanx in advanced to all.

it takes more than just simple DVD-DVD-R copy. Most DVD movies are encoded, so you need to rip it on to the HD. (SmartRipper is good) Then it's probably a DVD-9, so it won't fit on your DVD-R which is 4.7 capacity. So you have to re-encode and downsample the video or rip extras out.

It's a lengthy process. But if you are copying DVD-5 movies. It's easy.

try reading up on www.doom9.org for tutorials. If you don't know too much about programs and computers, you won't be able to do it...........lots of trial and error, but then you'll learn fast
