Hey i have a version 4 r-mod and im booting my dvd-rs with a gameshark and devil may cry. So heres my problem... I ordered 4 cheap media DVD-rs and first i played Madden and NCAA football 2003 and they both booted great and work. Then i put in NFL 2k3 and Socom Navy Seals and they both wont work??? Socom boots to the loading screen and then after that it sits forever and then goes to the screen from the main menu where u can like see the cd and the memory card and stuff. Then the same happens with NFL 2k3 but it just doesnt go to the loading screen?? What could be wrong is it my laser and is there anyhing i can do to clean it or what?

Maybe those need patches? I dunno, I use more reliable media.

oh ya here we go. TRY BOILING IT!!!!!!!!!! In case you haven't read the other posts!!!

LOL jaymus. I think it might be the media. I recommend trying better media like verb or apple.

@secret2345 :- Try cleaning the laser first then try the game on a different brand of media. As far as I know no DVD-r games needs patches as yet.
