I have ripped many DVDs without problems. I am trying to do one that has DTS option. I use IFOEdit. I re-encoded already but then go pick DTS and no sound plays at all......I used to not rip DTS tracks as I didn't have a receiver that could do it.

Anyhow, there is no sound at all. Any hints? I think all the IFO should be pointing correctly. I use www.doom9.org's IFOEdit guide

Thanks

Would I need DTS of some sort on my sound card to hear it? Meaning testing on the hard drive, I don't hear anything. I'll try burning on a DVD-RW to test on a stand alone.

Nevermind..........I test burned on a DVD-RW, it was infact in DTS. It's just that IFOEdit's internal player could not play it in DTS so I didn't hear anything, or maybe it could. But I only have 2 speakers.

Anyway, everything is fine. The DVD plays in pure DTS sound from the receiver. It displays DTS in the soundfield also.
