There use to be a status bar on my Internet Explorer, in which it shows the progress of me loading a website. There is no status bar at all.

I tried Maximizing the page and also restore the page. No luck.

Any idea?

Open Internet Explorer. It is not necessary to be connected to the internet.
Select View, options.
Click on the General tab. You see two options, Tool bar and Status bar. The option(s) has been deselected if the checkmark character is not displayed in front of the select.
Enable the it by clicking on the desired option.

I'm running IE6 on Windows XP and I agree with MasterMind.

What version of IE are you talking about, hothi? I can't find the darn View/Options/General Tab on my IE6. :D

In IE 6 just go to view then make sure there is a check beside status bar. I had this problem though in XP where it wouldn't remember my settings and i had to reselect the status bar every time i started IE. I had to make all folder views look the same or somethign like that and it fixed the problem (so far)
