just set up a pineer 104 dvd recorder
and its as prassi/nero wont accept it as a writer ??
i still have my cd writer connected,but cannot change the recording device from this to my new dvd burner!
have tried various ways of setting up my drives ide/master/slave etc, all to no avail
my pc recognises it as a pioneer 104 and set it up and says it is working correctly!
wot am i doin wrong?

download the px engine, can't remember the url....do a search for it on this board..............prassi won't recognise the 104 without it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yup autoloader is right the pxengine update will fix it, it will also allow you to use FAT32 systems because it will break up images and files into ~2 gig ones.

Yep....nero recognised my 104 when i first fitted it, just that prassi would'nt until i installed the px engine.

Got the same prob here,Problem with NERO may be that its only useable with writer it was bundled with,got 2 disks here,1 for plexy and 1 for a liteon,neither work.
