i need to know what program i can use to protect some pc's with passwords so no one can use the pc when booted unless they know the password. the pc's are running win98se. the pc's are compaq deskpro 350mhz pentuim 2 pc's. some of the pc's have only 32mb of mem. thanks

u could always just use a windows screensaver pass then pweople cant get the screensaver off like they do in some pc shops. When u want to lock it u enable the screensaver or set it to turn on after a certain period of inacticvity Too stop then from booting the pc u can use either a bios pass or a login (on win2k or nt or xp)

u can set a password in the cmos passwords r a pain in the butt..
there r ways to clear it in the future if u have a "password clear" jumper.
it is stored in CMOS.RAM .. clearing it can cause probs!!!
